10th. Tiny Stitches again have a booth- Come by if you have time, to visit or to
give some of the workers a break. If you plan to work as a relief volunteer in the
booth, E-mail Gloria (GloriaBantekas @ aol.com) or call her at(678/482/8360) or
(678/232/2506) so she can make you a nametag.

Remember the "Serge for Charity" sponsored by the Marietta group, at
Ashby Sewing Center on March 24th.from 10 to 3. Please call
770-427-9947so they will know how many tables to set up. Come and go as
your schedule permits.

The fabric sale at OHCO is from March 5 to 10. Ida has been in touch
with them and they have no juvenile print knits during this sale. Keep
your eyes and ears open for any other sources for knits for gowns and
sleepers. Until we find more knit prints, please use the print knits
ONLY as gown or sleeper sleeves or lap front shirts. Any knits including
the Garan should used only for garments. Use woven cottons, flannel or
terry when making bibs, burp cloths, lap pads or receiving blankets.

Each month we are now delivering 50 to 60 bags of clothes. If we deliver
55 bags the following is an accounting of the number of pieces:

            Quilts 55 Afghans 55 Receiving blankets 220 Gowns 220

Sleepers 220 Lap front shirts 220 Lap pads 110 Burp cloths110

            Bibs 130 Socks 165 Washcloths 110 Sweater sets 55

Tote bags 55 Fleece blankets 55 Sleep sacks (winter) 55

This is a total of 220 knit or crocheted items, 460 sewing machine items
and 935 serged garments and blankets. Recently we have been struggling
to have enough serged items. We are eager to teach more of you to make
the garments. We will be glad to teach you the easy way to serge these
items. Be in touch.

For next month the following items are in short supply- girl and boy lap
front shirts, boy burp pads, receiving blankets, and girl fabric caps.

Christine Sampson (one of our dedicated crocheters) is a very proud
mother these days. Her daughter, Linda, has completed her PhD.
Congratulations, Linda! We are all proud of you.
