Tiny Stitches Newsletter- January 2007

        Happy New Year!! The election of officers for 2007 will be held during the business
meeting on January 8 at Atlanta Sewing Center. Come and cast your vote.

        Do you have any of the following that you can bring to the business meeting on
Monday? We need girl and boy gowns, girl and boy sleep sacks, girl lap-front
shirts, boy lap pads and tote bags. Every little bit helps!

        The Marietta group (Mt.Zion UMC's Circle of Love) would like to thank Red Hen
Fabrics, Marietta, GA> and their  staff for their help quilting quilts for Tiny
Stitches and also for allowing them to use their longarm machine during Red Hen's
Quilt for Charity Saturday in December.
        Linda also reports there is to be a Serge for Charity on January 27th from 10:30am
to 3:30pm at Ashby Sewing Center, 2990 Canton Road, Marietta, GA. The participants
will be serging gowns and sleepers for Tiny Stitches. The $5 fee covers lunch.
Please pre-register at 770-427-9947. Ashby Sewing Center is next to Hancock's and
across from Old Time Pottery on Canton Hwy. Bring your  serger or there will also
be extra sergers  available if you don't have your own.
