Tiny Stitches Newsletter- August
2007
Gloria Bantekas and Cathy Temple made presentations to the Alpharetta Kiwanis
and
the Windward Rotary Clubs in July. We were warmly received and got some
donations as
well as leads to follow-up. We received the annual anonymous grant that pays the
warehouse rent and were pleased to see it was a larger amount.
We picked up the new "professionally made" beautiful posters to use during our
presentations .They were donated FREE by Expert Signs on Medlock Bridge Road.

thanks to the owner, John Bryan and manager, Scott Tilley.
The next pre-pack day is Wednesday, Aug.1, 9:30am at the warehouse.
Anyone interested is welcome to come and join the fun. It really is fun
and a good way to get to know other volunteers better. If you do not
have the gate code- ask in the office or call my cell (
Cathy-770-778-9492).
Quite a few people are still taking vacations so please keep those
machines stitchin'! More babies are usually born in August and
September.
***Make a calendar note- Our SEPTEMBER business meeting will be on
September 10 due to Labor Day holiday the week before.
