January- February 2006

This year has started off with a bang! Over fifty bags went out in January. For February we need lap pads, sleep sacks, lap front shirts and the large and small tote bags. If you are uncertain how to construct any items, please try to attend one of the workshops for some one on one tutoring. Check out the list of workshops at the end of this newsletter.

There will be a pre-packing day at the warehouse on Wednesday, Feb.1 starting at 9:30 am. This is when we get the different items organized ready to drop in the tote bags following the business meeting each month. This group is open to anyone who wants to participate. We have a good time working and usually followed by lunch. Anyone needing directions or other information call Gloria (678-482-8360) or Cathy (770-778-9492)

Gloria and Cathy will be visiting three Rotary Clubs during the next couple of months to pick up checks. We appreciate their continuing support.

Thanks to the ladies in the church groups at Lakewood Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Epiphany Lutheran for their continuing good work.

Again this year Tiny Stitches will have a booth at the EXPO at the Gwinnett Civic Center on March 9, 10 and 11
