Tiny Stitches Newsletter December 2006


This one will be even more crazy than usual-but I hope informational.

I am trying to send the invitation for the Christmas Coffee to everyone.
If you were missed here is the scoop- Everyone is invited to the
Christmas Coffee at Bunten Road Recreation Center on Saturday, Dec. 2,
from 11am to 2pm. If you have a favorite dish you would like to share
please bring it (Appreciated but not required). The RSVP instructions
should read RSVP to Gloria- 678-482-8360 only (Cathy will be out of
town)

Each month check the website to find out what items are in short supply.
After the bags are packed each month on the !st Monday,  the needs will
be sent to Jennifer at the website.

 Tiny Stitches is grateful for all the support of the various churches
that are associated with us. This month we are "spotlighting" the
Alpharetta First United Methodist Church. The Alpharetta group has met
in the church for many years. Donations of money have come from the
Serendipity Sunday School Class, the New Creations Sunday School Class,
the UMC Nancy Norman Circle, the United Methodist Women's Consignment
Sale, the Alpharetta Golden Age Club and AFUMC members Larry and Joy
Boone. Tiny Stitchers Meredith Agler and Renee Sasserman were
instrumental getting these donations that total over one thousand
dollars.

Most of the groups will not be having their regular meetings in
December. Please remember we still need to sew. If you need to turn in
product remember it can be left at Atlanta Sewing Center or call a board
member to make arrangements.

The meeting dates for December are:

The Christmas Coffee- Saturday, Dec. 2, 11am to 2pm, Bunten Road
Recreation Center, Bunten Road  Park, Duluth, GA.

Business meeting-(1st Monday) December 4, 10am to 12noon- Atlanta Sewing
Center, Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA.

Alpharetta Group-(2nd Saturday) December 9, 9:30am to 1:30pm- First
United Methodist Church- 69 Main Street, Alpharetta, GA.
