Tiny Stitches Newsletter- August 2006 Today was a very successful prepack day. Thanks to each person who came and helped. While our hands are busy packing, our “mouths” are busy talking and laughing- getting to know more about each other. If you want to get in on the fun- let it us know so we can add you to the “Warehouse Gang”. You know the line about Las Vegas- Well, what happens at the warehouse stays at the warehouse! We are in need of more girl sleepers for this month. If you have a chance to make any and bring them to the meeting Monday, it would be appreciated Do you have a smoker or a pet (a.k.a. cat or dog) in your house? Some allergies are triggered by smoke or pet hair. Please check your finished items. Does anyone have any contacts to help us acquire more yarn? We have a limited supply of yarn at this time. Thanks to Janet Hornsby and her husband, we received a quantity of fabric from a former quilt group. We now have an ample supply of fabric precut for large tote bags and quilt tops and linings. Gloria and Cathy attended the meeting of the Chattahoochee Rotary Club last week. Several of the members had suggestions for us to get additional donations –even a possible chance to talk to another Rotary Club. Thanks to Linda Hargis , who is one of the leaders of the new Tiny Stitches Marietta group, a number of the group already knew about Tiny Stitches. Way to go Linda!!
