Due to the Labor Day holiday

Due to the Labor Day holiday- the business meeting will be the 2nd Monday (Sept. 12) at Atlanta Sewing Center from 10am to 12 noon as usual with packing layettes at the warehouse afterward. Jill and Gloria both are out of town until the meeting so please send any supply requests to Cathy at information@tinystitches.org or phone at cell # 770-778-9492.The requests for bags in September are about 50. Keep your machines humming!

Effective August 19, Debbie Vickers resigned as President of Tiny Stitches and moved to North Carolina. At a called board meeting, Gloria Bantekas volunteered to be president-pro tem until time for elections the end of the year. The board asked Ida Boyce, and she accepted, to serve as the board member-at-large until elections.

How are your computer skills? There is a need for someone to print the garment labels, instructions and such that Melanie has been so graciously doing. Being treasurer and holding down two paying jobs has become a bit hectic. (Tiny Stitches furnishes the supplies)

If anyone wants more pleated burial gowns for smocking, request them(see above) and Donna Voss can bring them to the business meeting.

Gwinnett Medical Center Workshop-( 3rd Saturday) September 17, 9:30am to 3:30pm- Gwinnett Medical Center Education Center, Lawrenceville, GA.

Bunten Road Workshop-(last Tuesday) September 27, 9:30am to 3:00pm- Bunten Road Park Activities Building, Duluth,GA.
