Put on your running shoes! Rev-up your machines! March is going to be very busy! 57 layette bags have been requested for March delivery. Please finish whatever you can and bring it to the business meeting on Monday, March 7th. Boy gowns and lapfront shirts are needed most but we are short on all garments.

 MISSING: If you borrowed a burial envelope from Gloria at the last meeting, please bring it back.

The Bunten Road group smocking class was a smashing success. Anyone who needs help or has finished smocking their dress can turn it in to Donna Voss and get another one at thebusiness meeting on Monday.  The March Bunten workshop will concentrate on finishing these garments.

 Several ladies from the Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville have attended the Gwinnett workshop for a couple of months. Last Saturday, Debbie Vickers and Cathy Temple met with a group of ladies at the church and they are now going to meet on the third Saturday of each month as a Tiny Stitches group.

Margaret Vinot reports that Margaret Barker has started teaching Knitting Classes at the St John's Church in Marietta and all the finished items will be donated to Tiny Stitches.  The Marietta AJC had an article about her project and mentioned Tiny Stitches. Way to go, Margaret!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Darlene Tillman who was a very active member of the Marietta Group. She battled cancer and died on Feb. 9

Linda Bailey, the coordinator for the Snellville group is moving and will no longer be able to lead this group. Many thanks for all the extra hours she has given to Tiny Stitches.  She plans to continue participating wherever she lives. Who can help fill this position?

March 10,11,and 12 is the Sewing EXPO at the Gwinnett Civic Center. Tiny Stitches again has a booth.  Come by to visit or to give those working in the booth a break.  It is also OCHO sale week so we will be checking that out, too.
