The booth at EXPO was a great success- The beanie baby quilt was raffles with a profit of $360. We had other donations of $67. Several people have contacted us to become volunteers. We are already signed up for EXPO in 2005.

 A few people went to the OCHO sale to get cotton prints to go with the solid colors we have from Garan.

Debbie Vickers and Cathy Temple met with some of the ladies of the Epiphany Lutheran Church to cut kits. They plan to continue this activity on a regular basis.

Gwen Peterson reports that the Alpharetta group has received a donation of three sewing machines for use by their group. Thanks to Gwen's husband for giving these machines tune-ups. The

Alpharetta group also had a "squares contest" with each person making 6x6 squares, then the squares were put together to make a patchwork afghan. Shirley Rathkopf was the big winner- congratulations!

Several of us have been exercising at a local Curves (an all ladies exercise place). Some other ladies were talking about wanting to learn to knit--So-o- we said we can teach you- the result already one new volunteer and the management is holding a money donation and "sock drive" for Tiny Stitches. Proof that each of us is our best publicity!

The Marietta group MAY meeting has been changed to a tea to celebrate five years of sewing for babies. The tea will be held at the home of Martha Vinot on May 15, 11 am to 1 pm. NOTE
