Tiny Stitches Newsletter- December 2003

 

Sorry to interrupt as we all chase the turkey and pumpkin pies- but next week is DECEMBER! Next Monday is Dec. 1, the day of our business meeting at Atlanta Sewing Center. Anyone needing supplies please contact Gloria (gloriabantekas@aol.com) or 678-482-8360 by Wednesday. If you can't get your request in- plan to go to the warehouse after the business meeting to pick up your supplies.

Christmas Events:

Tiny Stitches CHRISTMAS COFFEE- Saturday-December 13 from 11am to 2pm at the home of Debbie Vickers, 4949 Gladstone Parkway, Suwanee, GA. PLEASE RSVP by Thursday, Dec. 4 to Gloria (see above) or Cathy (geeftemple@charter.net) or 770-945-6818. Let us know if you need directions to Debbie's house.

The Alpharetta group will also have their Christmas Covered Dish meeting on Dec 13- 9:30am-2:30pm. Please RSVP to Gwen by Dec 10.

Donations:
 We have had a rather large donation of assorted pink,blue and white ribbon of various widths. Any suggestions for using this will be welcome. If you want to see it- it is in the warehouse.

  Thankfully, we continue to receive donations. This month we have $200 dollars from Mountainside Hospital Auxiliary and $70 from the Atlanta Dollmakers. We received $2000 from an individual through the Gwinnett Foundation. Levi's (as in jeans) has notified us they are shipping us two boxes of denim.

Due to the holidays there are CHANGES. Remember we still need all the finished garments we can manage to fill the bags for December.
